A beautiful, superb condition SME3009 Series 11 Improved Fixed Headshell Tonearm
This Fixed Headshell SME 3009 Series 11 Improved is in absolutely superb ORIGINAL condition. Serial number: 2358xx
The silver castings and fittings are all perfect and unmarked.
The Headshell is unmarked.
The Bearings are all perfect – super smooth and wear free.
The Dashpot queuing mechanism works very slowly and smoothly - exactly as it should.
The Arm tube is gleaming
This Series 11 is the Fixed headshell version of the 3009 and is the purer design with the lowest possible mass being only 5.5 grams “offering a significant improvement in trackability and all round definition plus cleaner bass and low sensitivity to external shock and feedback”- to quote SME and they should know.

· Laminated copies of Alignment Gauge & Mounting Template
· SME Interconnect with high quality RCA plugs
· SME Iightweight Cartridge Screws (2 sets)

· Bias Weight
· Allen Key for setting up the arm – try doing this without one!!

The continuity of ALL the wiring is perfect, INCLUDING the all important Earth lead which is connected inside the Arm tube.
